Seihitsu - a Japanese term referring to a state of profound quietness and peacefulness. I wanted this artwork to reflect tranquility and was inspired by those quiet, almost ethereal, places you find in nature. A serene atmosphere that's calm and a place to reflect on your inner most thoughts.

Seihitsu - 2025
This artwork is made from Plaster filler which is what creates the texture and dimension within the piece. Due to the nature of this material it can be very fragile. All artworks are delicate, but this material in particular you need to take extra care with as the surface can easily chip/scratch, however this is what gives the artwork it's earthy, textured, cracked and beautifully imperfect look and feel.
Try not to lean anything against the canvas. Heavy items leaning on canvas for extended periods can cause dint's/ damage to the material.
